Our Story

Lidia Maria Designs is named for the two women I admire most: my mother, Lidia, and my grandmother, Maria.

They were resilient, selfless, often misunderstood — and incredibly strong and beautiful, inside and out. They gave me the skills and the desire to create. Watching them, I learned that creativity isn't a luxury; it's a way of caring for the people you love, of making something from what you have, and of leaving a little beauty behind.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and I'm a proud Afro-Latina. Their strength, their culture, and their spirit are woven into everything I make. Every shirt, sweatshirt and cup in this shop carries a piece of them.
